Allentown, PA: Netizen Corporation, an ISO 27001, ISO 9001, and CMMI Level 3 certified Service Disabled Veteran-Owned (SDVOSB) provider of enterprise cybersecurity and related solutions for military, government, and commercial organizations worldwide, was awarded a five-year blanket purchase agreement (BPA) contract with the Department of State (DoS) Bureau of Consular Affairs (CA) for cybersecurity solutions valued at up to $303,000,000 in total.

The scope encompasses comprehensive cybersecurity solutions supporting consular technology systems at Department of State facilities in the Washington D.C. metro area, field locations, and foreign posts. Services to be provided include Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) support, Security Control Assessment services, Security Operations and Maintenance services, Cyber Portfolio Management services, and Cyber Tool Support to protect highly sensitive consular systems and data relied on by tens of millions of U.S. citizens around the world.

The contract has a one-year base period and four twelve-month option periods for a total of five years. It has a ceiling value of $303,000,000 over that period for all task orders issued. Netizen was one of 6 awardees selected for this contract from a group of over 14 total bidders and has partnered with subcontractors The Fila Group LLC and Alpha Omega Inc., both from Virginia.

“To have been chosen to support such a critical mission potentially impacting tens of millions of Americans around the globe through the Department of State is truly an honor. It also demonstrates the capability of our Netizen team and the trust placed in us by customers that operate in in some of the most complex and sensitive environments anywhere in the world who rely on us to protect their most critical systems and data,” said Akhil Handa, Netizen’s Chief Operating Officer (COO). He added that work will be assigned via task orders issued under the main contract in any of the six service groups as needed by the Department of State to meet their requirements.

The Department of State Bureau of Consular Affairs’ mission is to protect the lives and serve the interests of American citizens. Across the globe, they serve citizens during some of their most important moments and trying times – births, adoptions, medical emergencies, deaths, arrests, and disasters. They also help Americans connect with the world by issuing millions of U.S. passports each year and keep our country safe by issuing visas to qualified visitors.

This award comes off the heels another recent large win for Netizen Corporation — a nine-year $168M contract with the Department of Homeland Security to support nationwide Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC) information technology and cybersecurity operations. Additionally, they were recently named a NASA SEWP VI contract awardee through their Joint Venture company, FourNet Solutions, and were awarded a spot on the Congressional Budget Office (CBO) SENTRY contract for cybersecurity, cloud, network and IT support.
